About Lonely Troops
 

We are an independent development team from Slovakia, founded in 2004 by brothers Jaroslav and Tomáš Kurčík. To this day, the two of us still create together—staying true to our name, Lonely Troops, which symbolizes our steadfast journey relying solely on our own strength and complete creative independence.

Our goal is to create gentle, original adventures that serve as a safe and peaceful fairy-tale haven for players of all generations. Roles in our team are naturally and clearly divided: Jaroslav leads development, taking care of programming and sound design, while Tomáš breathes soul into our worlds as our artist and 3D designer.

Since 2012, the heart of our work has been the Hero of the Kingdom series, where we focus on picturesque 2D isometric visuals, intuitive one-click controls, and the deep satisfaction of setting the world right without any stress or rush.

How to play

 

  • Follow clear symbols: Look out for bright yellow icons above characters and points of interest across the land that will guide you to important quests.
  • Keep your eyes open and fill your pack: Explore the picturesque corners of the land, search for wild medicinal herbs and other gifts of nature, and gather supplies needed for the journey ahead.
  • Help people and heal the world: Answer the pleas of villagers in need, bring them the items they need, gain experience, and practice your healing skills.

Description


Hero of the Kingdom: Echoes is a lovely adventuring RPG in a picturesque isometric 2D style, centered on peaceful exploration, gentle problem-solving, and the gradual restoration of the world. It tells a parallel story to the events of the third game in the series, following the journey of a young herbalist from a remote village. When an unknown plague begins to creep across the countryside after a powerful earthquake, he must draw upon his knowledge of nature to save the entire kingdom.

At its heart, the gameplay blends point-and-click exploration, thoughtful planning, and intuitive resource preparation. Instead of combat reflexes or complex stat sheets, the game rewards patience, a keen eye, and brewing healing elixirs. As you mend the damage left by the natural disaster, help locals in need, and clear out underground areas, every good deed brings an immediate and visible transformation to the surrounding countryside.

The game is designed as a stress-free, fairy-tale haven for players of all generations. There are no time limits, no threat of death, and no dead ends – time moves forward solely with your own decisions and actions.
